Canada’s premier printable electronics industry event coming in April
OTTAWA—January 21 2015—The Canadian Printable Electronics Industry Association (www.cpeia-acei.ca), the united voice of Canada’s Printable Electronics sector, has signed industry leader NovaCentrix as a Gold Sponsor for the 2015 Canadian Printable Electronics Symposium (CPES2015).
NovaCentrix, based in Texas, is leading product innovator in printable electronics (PE) manufacturing. It develops, patents, and commercializes new technologies in PE, nanoparticle manufacturing, pulsed power equipment and related fields. NovaCentrix is known for its PulseForge line of photonic curing tools (used to dry, sinter or anneal thin-film materials on substrates) and its Metalon conductive inks.
“In recent years, we have seen huge advances in materials, processing technologies and innovations driven by consumer opportunities, all of which are accelerating this market forward,” said Stan Farnsworth, NovaCentrix’s Vice President, Marketing. “But we need champions like the CPEIA to bring stakeholders together and facilitate that growth. We are excited about what we are seeing in Canada and we want to be a part of it.”
CPES2015 will showcase the convergence of research and development, industry expertise, commercial effort and government support that gives Canada a tremendous opportunity in the explosive global market for PE.
“Given its leadership role in PE manufacturing processes and technology, NovaCentrix is a valued addition to CPES2015,” said Peter Kallai, Executive Director of the CPEIA. “The interest and support of this U.S.-based organization demonstrates how important it is for Canada’s PE industry to forge linkages beyond our borders.”
Over two information-packed days, 120+ attendees will have the opportunity to learn, network and develop partnerships for collaboration and business development. CPES2015 runs April 21-22 in Montreal.
The CPES2015 agenda includes five keynote presentations, 20 in-depth presentations by industry experts and leading Canadian researchers, two panel sessions with representatives from Canadian industry and funding organizations, and 15 academic posters from leading Canadian principal investigators and their teams. Ten organizations will also have the opportunity for up to five targeted meetings each with key academic, government, industry and investor contacts.
Register now for CPES2015 and enjoy an early bird discount. Deadlines for paper and presentation submissions is January 31.
