James Hayward is a Senior Technology Analyst at IDTechEx, where he covers enabling technologies and markets for topics including wearable technology, e-textiles, haptics, sensors and user interfaces. As well as authoring reports on each topic, James works directly with IDTechEx’s clients in bespoke projects covering technology scouting, competitive analyses, benchmarking networking and strategy. This work has enabled James to interview, visit and profile hundreds of companies worldwide, as well as speaking at industry conferences on each topic. Prior to joining IDTechEx, James graduated with 1st class MSci in Chemistry from Imperial College London.
E-Textiles Value Chain to End Products
Electronic textiles (e-textile) have risen from the research labs into real commercial markets over the last 15 years. With investment pouring in from industry globally, key players are positioning themselves to make the most of this growing market.
