Flexible Manufacturing of 3D Printed Electronics via Print Driven Process Chains
This presentation will review the state-of-the-art for 3D Printed Electronics (3DPE) manufacture. A reconfigurable array of printing techniques are combined with pre-/post-processing and SMD technologies to enable an automated, flexible process chain. This process chain can be reconfigured to cope with rapid changes in product type whilst being scaled through to volume manufacture. In addition, the convergence of 3DPE with classical 3D Printing to create fully additively manufactured mechatronic devices will be discussed.
